Mosel Wine and Christmas Market

The town of Traben-Trarbach on the River Mosel set up their Christmas markets in the former wine cellars. “When it‘s really cold outside and it‘s snowing, we whisk you off to the pleasantly warm and romantically lit large former wine cellars of our town: as soon as you walk into one of the cellars, some of which date back to the 16th century, you can smell the comforting warm aroma of mulled wine, roasted almonds and fir sprigs. “

It was certainly warm and unique.

Everything CHOCOLATE!!  Need I say more? Germany’s biggest chocolate festival. Located in the beautiful medieval university town of Tübingen. Cobble stone roads, narrow alleys and timber frame buildings. We indulged in melt in your mouth chocolate, hot coco, glühwein, chocolate covered marshmallows, chocolate covered strawberries and chocolate liquor. A most delicious day!
